At Bridge-ette Villa, a pivot door powered by the FritsJurgens System M+ seamlessly merges interior and exterior. The combination of glass, European oak, and reflective surfaces used across the pivot door and secondary panel, ensures a breathtaking entrance, regardless of whether it's open or closed.
The perfect blend of artistic expression and practical considerations, L'atelier Arman Safavi created moving architecture to seamlessly connect the serene landscaping with the villa’s minimal yet beautiful interior. This connection came with a desire to ensure effortless movement when entering the villa.
At 302 cm in height and 200 kg in weight (400 kg for the secondary panel), the pivot door and panel move with ease thanks to the fully integrated and concealed hardware of the FritsJurgens System M+. Its hydraulic dampening ensures smooth, graceful movements, while the hold positions keep these oversized panels steady in any configuration.
Crafted from European oak in contrasting natural and black stains, the pivot door provides both warmth and structural integrity. The use of a stainless steel substructure further enhances durability. The active door also integrates a full-height glass panel, maintaining privacy while offering glimpses into the villa’s interior.
Mirror panels to the interior enhance and reflect the beautiful open-plan space within.
